The TOP Team

Blake: TOP Blogger
I am not special. I am not particularly quick-witted nor am I in any way well known. I have never been to culinary school or climbed Mt. Everest. I do not own stock in anything but my own personal growth fund. I have never won a major award or had dinner with a celebrity.  I am, for lack of a better word, ordinary.

My credentials? I'm a foodaholic and I watch a lot of HGTV, Food Network and Travel Channel. That's about it. But I, like any other, have an opinion.  You may want to hear it, you may not.  But if you're normal like me, my experiences and the opinions they produce may just come in handy to you some day.

PID: Partner-in-Dine and Fellow Reviewer
I guess you could call me a bit of a burger and sub "connoisseur," but I'll eat just about anything you put in front of me and will never back down from a challenge. I'm more of an eater than a writer, though I'm pretty (correctly) opinionated and am always willing to lend a word or two to the final review.

In 2010, we set out on an adventure to find the best kept culinary secrets of the city and even become advocates of those locally owned and operated places that aren't so secret. We love to eat, so why the heck not?

We pledge to be completely honest in our opinions (sharing both positive and negative) to enlighten both Pittsburgh locals and visitors about their dining options in our city of steel.

"Here's to good food, good wine, a good time and never having to guess where to find it!"
