Wordless Wednesday: Hometown Homegrown

This past weekend, I took my good friend Mrs. P, author of Barefoot Veggie Eater, to the Hometown-Homegrown at the Heinz History Center. The event was thrown by the amazing folks at GoodTaste! Pittsburgh with the help of the History Center and local food vendors from all across the greater Pittsburgh region.

TOP-News: New French Restaurant to open in South Side

We received the following press release this afternoon with news about a new French restaurant coming to town.  The space adjacent to the Holiday Inn on 10th Street in the South Side has changed hands many times over the past few years, but this one sounds pretty darn good!

PID and I have recently fallen in love with the South Side Works. After the riverwalk renovations were complete, the Works turned in to one of our favorite places to take TOP-Dawg for walks and enjoy the outdoors.
