Spodee is EVERYWHERE!

Calling all cocktail enthusiasts!

Two of Philly-based Quaker City Mercantile's (you've heard of Hendrick's Gin and Sailor Jerry, right?) boozey brands, Art in the Age and Spodee, will be representing in the Steel City this month.

First up, TONIGHT (3/20), the South Side's Acacia Cocktail Club on Carson Street is hosting Art in the Age for their monthly cocktail club from 7-9 p.m.

Each guest will get a complimentary signature cocktail made with one of the four Art in the Age 100% organic spirits. To RSVP, email  emburyandacacia@gmail.com and tell 'em Blake sent ya!

And for you Shadysiders, Harris Grill is currently featuring two tasty Spodee cocktails for just $6:

RHUBY TART:  Spodee, Aviation gin, blackberry brandy, cranberry juice, lemon

SWEET CHARIOT:  Spodee, Art in the Age's SNAP, Combier, muddled oranges, tonic, soda

Um.... YUM?!

Spodee is a wine fortified with 36 proof moonshine, that you mix into cocktails, like a spirit. You can also mix it into food, which leads me to my next announcement:

Someone has FINALLY paired two of my very favorite things: wine and food trucks! Oh My Grill is teaming up with Spodee to offer two extremely unique, wine-infused menu options:

Spodee/French Onion Grilled Cheese (using Spodee in leiu of beef stock)
Brie, Pear and Ham Meld with a  Spodee reduction

Ummmm.... DOUBLE YUM!?

So keep your eyes peeled for this truck:

Thanks, OhMyGrill.com
And be sure to ask for a Spodee Special!

Finally, Spodee is on sale in PA for only $7.99 during the month of March. So if you like what you taste, pick up some (it's served in an old-timey milk bottle!) for yourself.
