Good news, downtowners! One of my favorite imbiberies is expanding! Beginning April 17th Andys in the Fairmont will begin having outdoor seating on Fifth Avenue with drink and menu specials!
Executive Chef Jason Dalling’s new menu features a rotating selection
of international street fare. “I was inspired by the idea of marrying
casual street
food from around the world with local, seasonal ingredients,” said
Dalling. “The menu may feature dishes such as ramen, curry, sushi, rice
bowls, bánh mì and other international flavors that will evolve
throughout the season.”
The lunch menu will feature one main dish with meat and vegetarian
options and will be rotated frequently. Dalling and his culinary team
will also offer
a selection of homemade sodas, iced teas and lemonades. Pastry Chef
James Wroblewski will provide desserts and treats-to-go including
macarons, parfaits and homemade ice cream bars.
The patio will open
daily
at 11:30 a.m., weather permitting. Lunch service will be available
Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The patio can be reserved for private events. Andys indoor hours and
happy hour/late night menu will remain the same.
Inspired
by Andy Warhol and Andrew Carnegie, Andys celebrates the “art and
industry” of Pittsburgh. Located in the Fairmont Pittsburgh lobby, Andys
is open daily and features
classic cocktails, happy hour specials and live local music five nights
a week. For more information, visit

How wonderful, I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteYesss!!! I can't wait. I love the Fairmont, Habitat, & Andy's so much all ready and now this.
ReplyDeleteI've heard that Andy's is a cool place with good jazz, but I haven't made it there yet. I'll look forward to checking out the new outdoor space when warm weather arrives! I don't know about you, but I'm ready for spring!
