Who loves a giveaway?? Who loves a giveaway when it's tickets to one of Pittsburgh's hottest foodie events of all time?

Thanks, Savor Pittsburgh!
Are you raising your hand?

We are SO VERY LUCKY to have the opportunity to check out the 2012 Savor Pittsburgh, being held in Pittsburgh's iconic South Side Works. This year, the event is even bigger that usual.
On Thursday, September 6 from 6:30 - 10 p.m. the area's top chefs compete for the title of "Dish of the Year."

Thanks, Savor Pittsburgh!

Thanks, Savor Pittsburgh!

Thanks, Savor Pittsburgh!

On Friday, September 7, bartenders from across the city will enter the "Great Happy Hour Competition" and vie for your heart (and taste buds) with their very best cocktails and bar apps.

Thanks, Savor Pittsburgh!
Tickets for each run between $35 and $65 dollars....BUT... you could WIN them right here from Taste of Pittsburgh for FREE!
Want to meet PID and I and savor some tasty dishes or cocktails? All you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post telling me who your favorite chef OR bartender in the city is,  which night you would prefer to attend, and a way to contact you electronically (blog, e-mail, Twitter - your pick. So long as you can respond and claim your prize!). After you leave a comment, we'll enter each of them in a random number generator and pick TWO winners.

We'll be drawing one winner to receive two tickets to the Culinary Competition on Thursday and one winner to receive two tickets to the Great Happy Hour Competition on Friday.

The catch? You only have 24 hours to enter!  We will draw a winner around midnight on Wednesday. The tickets will be e-mailed to you in PDF form just as soon as you confirm your win.

Don't want to chance it? You can still purchase tickets at www.savorpgh.com! It's absolutely worth it! Proceeds benefit Magee Women's Research Institute.

GOOD LUCK and we'll see you at Savor!

  1. My favorite Chef is Kevin Sousa. He definitely has changed the restaurant game in the Burgh. His vision, his drive, and determination are all unbelievable. It shows everytime a dish leaves his kitchen and everytime I step into one of his establishments.

  3. I love Exec. Chef Kevin Watson's food at Savoy -- I don't think he can possibly concoct a bad dish! I would love the opportunity to attend Savor Pittsburgh -- I can't afford it otherwise! Although I'd LOVE to attend either night, I would love the scene on Friday night. Please contact me at emily.s.wardle@gmail.com if I'm your winner! :) Thanks!
